Escarlin and Michael presented their Honors Theses, on Honors Thesis Day on Thursday, February 24, 2022, representing their four years of hard work. Their research presentations were at a top-notch professional level.
Escarlin's project involves studying thermodynamic properties of cell membranes and how it interacts with exogenous molecules such as drugs, while Michael has been focused on investigation of electrical properties of cell membranes based on the newly developed electrophysiology technique.
Their work has led to peer-reviewed publications already published and currently submitted to leading journals. This is an extremely notable accomplishment, largely due to their unparelled dedication!
Both Escarlin and Michael have been a role model and inspiration to the rest of the Project Symphony research team. We appreciate you!
