Alessandra to present at the Micro TAS 2017 International Conference

“Our group member, Alessandra Armetta ’18 (Chemistry) presented a poster, “Characterization of Monoolein Bilayer Thickness Using Specific Membrane Capacitance,” at The 21st International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (Micro TAS 2017), in Savannah, GA, during the week of October 22-26, 2017. This work is the result of the collaboration between the Shoji Takeuchi group at the University of Tokyo and the Sunghee Lee group at Iona College. Michael McGlone (’17 Physics) is also a coauthor of the selected poster presentation. Alessandra is one among few undergraduates who were selected to present their work in this prestigious and competitive symposium.”
